Is there any chance to get this patch into Lucid? The realtime button in
qjackctl having no effect at all seems like it's going to confuse a lot
of users...

Status in “qjackctl” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed

Bug description:
Binary package hint: qjackctl

qjackctl (0.3.4-0ubuntu4) lucid; urgency=low

  * Comply with jackd >= 0.118.0 which now runs in real-time mode by
    default, cherrypicked from upstream. Update debian/control to
    require jackd >= 0.118.

If this patch is not applied, qjackctl will fail to start jackd in non real-time mode.
