You have been subscribed to a public bug by Lionel Dricot (ploum):

Binary package hint: music-applet

Currently, music-applet allows the user to have custom plugins in
.gnome2 folder. This .gnome2 folder is hardcoded multiple times and,
according to the Freedesktop specification, should not be used.

The attached patch solves the problem and use the XDG_CONFIG_HOME
instead of .gnome2.

See :

http://standards.freedesktop.org/basedir-spec/latest/ar01s03.html
http://ploum.frimouvy.org/?207-modify-your-application-to-use-xdg-folders

** Affects: music-applet (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
