This bug was fixed in the package kde4libs - 4:4.4.2-0ubuntu2
---------------
kde4libs (4:4.4.2-0ubuntu2) lucid; urgency=low
* In kubuntu_06_user_disk_mounting.diff (LP: #528907)
- callHalPrivilegedVolumeMount() if the error is
org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume.PermissionDenied
the error for umount is not changed, keep what there's already
