<br><br>I have started a similar tool with the same purpose (but for KDE/Kubuntu) as part of kde-guidance package. The code (although the newest bits aren&#39;t pushed to KDE SVN yet) has been written in Python and it is relatively well separated into a backend and a frontend. I believe we can cooperate and deliver a working GRUB editing solution for both GNOME and KDE using the same backend.
<br><br>Please let me know if you&#39;d like to cooperate on the backend part. There are also some &quot;inflexibilities&quot; in update-grub that need to be taken care of before a good GUI for GRUB can be delivered.<br><br>
