I see. That's quite disappointing. Well you could go another route and return
the Windows license. The Windows EULA specifically says that if you do not
agree with the EULA, you may return the license and get a refund. I think
Nick (ziroday on #ubuntu-sg) has done it before, so you could get pointers
from him. It's more of a hassle than getting an OS-free laptop here, but it
could be less of a hassle than shipping an OS-free laptop all the way from Kuala
Lumpur.
