i decided to install the 32bit ubuntu and then i found out that ubuntu
graphical install does not detect my notebook video card at all. so i cannot
even start x. i had to manually install the proprietary ati graphics drivers
before x can start up. i wonder how come the normal vga settings cannot
detect my graphics card.
