Thanks, I'll try that once I'm sure my shiny new feisty is stable.

I've had a fair amount of experience with X problems, earned the usual
way (i.e. the hard way). Fiddling with Nvidia beta drivers, then beryl
/ xgl. So I'm game to try anything haha.
