Hello Moretti.<div><br></div><div>I am assuming you are using Ubuntu 12.04.</div><div><br></div><div>There has been a change in the way the system creates the resolv.conf file. If you have a static network configuration, you need to put your DNS Servers configuration in the /etc/network/interfaces file with the following entries:</div>
<div><br></div><div><div> dns-nameservers x.x.x.x</div><div> dns-nameservers x.x.x.x</div></div><div><br></div><div>On restart, the system will automatically populate the contents of the resolv.conf file with the entries in the interfaces file.</div>
