<font size="-1"><font face="Comic Sans MS">Hi,<br>
<br>
I have a Dell PowerEdge1900 with a Hardware RAID card
(presumably is a Fake Hardware RAID) and not very expensive.
Anyway I used it to set up RAID1 and now I want to monitor it.
I've installed raidutils and configured it to start at boot
time, taken from this site<small> </small></font></font><small><font
face="Comic Sans MS"><a
href="http://codeghar.wordpress.com/2007/11/26/hardware-raid-1-on-ubuntu/">http://codeghar.wordpress.com/2007/11/26/hardware-raid-1-on-ubuntu/</a></font>
. When I run the command sudo raidutil -L physical I get the
following error.<br>
<br>
<b>osdOpenEngine: 01/04/111-11:50:41 Fatal error, no active
controller device files found.<br>
Engine connect failed: Open</b><br>
<br>
Has anyone got this working, or has anyone come across a reliable
method of monitor a Hardware RAID controller in Ubuntu.<br>
