I would think that there is interest in this. <BR>

I actually have the first book that you linked too and have found it pretty useful so far. I was actually very disappointed with the section on virtualization though which very briefly covers KVM, Xen and I forget the third one off the top of my head. <BR>
<BR>
So I would think that there would be interest in this given Ubuntu's popularity - although personally I would even like to see a server book dedicated to just running virtual machines on Ubuntu server. I know I would buy it (if it was a good in depth book). <BR>

We've had the book in development for a while now, but the project stalled out several months ago, and we must now determine whether we should push to complete it or not. In the meantime, another publisher has put out a book on the subject, and a second book has been announced for later this year (see links to Amazon listings below).</FONT></DIV>
