   Here, the user installed mysql using a different mysql datadir and just
   replaced their configuration file with the default one during the upgrade.
   Our postinst assumes the default datadir to verify if there are any locks in
   place (which could indeed be a bug), but the failure happens within mysql
   itself, when it tries to start the service using an empy/non-initialized
   datadir.  I marked This as incomplete, assuming it is on the user to properly
   configure mysql to prepare for the upgrade. Still, I am unsure if we
   should/could ease this process for users.
