Ubuntu 20.04 an WP from APT - can't update WP to current version

Hello,

i use a 20.4 with apache2
i installed wordpress via apt

all wp install files are in /usr/share/wordpress

in the WP GUI (Login as Admin) i see a Update Warning.... The most WP
extensions need the current Version

I start the Update in WP GUI (/wp-admin/update-core.php)

WP GUI say's "An automatic update could not be completed"

I see no errors in my Apache Logs...

What do I have to do to install the latest version?
Is there maybe a Backport for Wordpress in UBUNTU?
