## Proposed Migration ##

I updated the wiki page, mostly removing items now migrated.
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ServerTeam/ProposedMigrationNotes

I noticed there is a boost transition under way, that quite a lot of
things blocking on, but fortunately none are high priority on our list.
Vorlon says xnox is driving this work.

dovecot, php7.4, postfix and other packages are migrating with the icu
transition. I experimented with triggering dovecot and icu together,
however the arm builders seem to be pretty bogged down, so unsure yet if
that is going to do anything useful. vorlon mentioned that icu may be
entangled by boost. Presumably, then, it'll be dealt with by
Foundations and these will all clear the server board without action
needed by us.

Most of the rest of our list is the Ruby 2.5 and 2.7 migration items,
which presumably will be tackled in Lucas' work, and php 7.3 which will
be made redundant with mine.

The one other item is kronosnet, which is failing autopkgtest for i386.
Last time this was looked at vorlon gave suggestion, which I've taken a
stab at implementing. I filed LP #1863970 as 'update-excuse' that
hopefully prevents it from getting stepped on, posted an MP, and will
get it into a PPA for testing.

## Bug Triage ##

LP: #1863751 - (New) [qemu] - Fails to install ppcle version of Ubuntu 19.10 dued to downlevel qemu-system-ppc
* They're requesting a new upstream version for eoan than 4.0
--> Incomplete. Asked if they've tested the issue with focal's qemu 4.2

LP: #1863749 - (New) [strongswan] - NTRU Plugin Missing in Focal
* The plugin indeed appears to have disappeared in recent releases,
although I am failing to locate an explanation why it dropped.
--> Subscribed ubuntu-server for further bugwork research

LP: #1802005 - (Confirmed) [libvirt] - socket is inaccessible for libvirt-dbus
* Known workaround is to chmod 777 the socket, but guessing this weakens
security so is not the default?
* Other suggestion seems to be adding group libvirt for libvirt-qemu & libvirtdbus
--> Subscribed ubuntu-server for further bugwork research
