The last I heard, Canonical's kernel team were looking into it. I
suggest that any further discussion be carried out on the Ubuntu kernel
team's list (https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kernel-team)
since the Ubuntu Server team essentially just consumes their kernel.
