how to apply security updates?

when i log in i get this messages:

5 packages can be updated.
3 updates are security updates.


when I do:
    sudo aptitude
I can see 3 security updates for mysql are for mysql client, server and server-core
but i do not know how to install them?

I also see 3 upgradable packages:
procps
oracle-java7-installer
wpasupplicant

I DO NOT want to upgrade these. now how can I update the security updates ONLY from command line? please.
