Hello again.
I think I miss something in /etc/fstab because when I mount the
exported system and mount it on my mac, I got this error below when
trying to create on the mounted disk
macbook:~ karl$ sudo mount 192.168.1.35:/export/users /Users/karl/Ubuntu
macbook:~ karl$ cd Ubuntu/
macbook:Ubuntu karl$ ls
testing
macbook:Ubuntu karl$ mkdir test
mkdir: test: Permission denied
macbook:Ubuntu karl$
Here is my /etc/fstab file:
.........................................
karl at ubuntu:~$ cat /etc/fstab
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# Use 'blkid' to print the universally unique identifier for a
# device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices
# that works even if disks are added and removed. See fstab(5).
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc nodev,noexec,nosuid 0 0
/dev/mapper/ubuntu-root / ext4 errors=remount-ro 0 1
# /boot was on /dev/sda1 during installation
UUID=5539e26b-a26b-492c-abe8-e4c19b28eaaa /boot ext2
defaults 0 2
/dev/mapper/ubuntu-swap_1 none swap sw 0 0
/home/BackUP /export/users none bind 0 0
karl at ubuntu:~$
Thanks for all help!
Karl
