Boot problem

Hello everybody

I installed Ubuntu Server Edition 10.04 on a Dell R210 but I can not
start the system once installed.
He says he can not find the root device.
I have already put rootdelay = 200 and did not work.
Even removed the grub-pc grub and installed old version but i did not.

If anyone can help me thank.
