star and tar are much more different than just ACL support. For
example, amanda doesn't work with star (cause star doesn't support some
tar's functions). There are also problems where gnu tar can't extract
star's archives (gnu tar doesn't support POSIX.1-1988; at least not
without additional switches) and vice verse. Introducing star instead
of tar would bring whole world to the end :)
