Ubuntu and (Mellanox) infiniband

Hi everyone

Has anyone successfully used the Mellanox OpenFabrics Enterprise
Distribution for Linux
(MLNX_OFED)<http://www.mellanox.com/content/pages.php?pg=products_dyn&product_family=26&menu_section=34>together
with any Ubuntu release to implement InfiniBand communications?
And, specifically, I'd be interested to know if you are using the Mellanox's
IP over IB facilities.

As background, I want to run this on a supermicro board with built in
Mellanox IB hardware, eg

Any hints for successful adoption most welcome.
Ditto any use of other protocol stacks with Mellanox IB devices.
