Hi,
I know an alternative that could fit in your case (well, it has more
features than file/printer sharing and email :P). The project is called
"eBox Platform" (http://www.ebox-platform.com), a small-business GPL
server.
The "problem" is that it is a Debian-based distribution itself (it's not
a problem if you don't mind the underlying distro). So, it's not
intended to get its packages and install them on another distro, beacuse
eBox is heavily integrated with the system on some parts. eBox is
similar to an appliance you can buy, but it's free and you can try it,
join the users/devel lists and/or modify it as you like.
