Installer fails to install GRUB when using XFS (AMD64 Flight 6)

Short answer:
When installing over an XFS partition LILO is the recomended bootloader.
Actually, I'm using a server with XFS filesystems only and works
perfectly with LILO.
I've read that XFS is supported as a GRUB root partition but I do not
know if the GRUB installation proccess is implemented in the debian
installer. Can someone in the list clarify this?

I'd recommend you, by now, to use LILO.
