Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
  * New upstream release.
  * d/patches/python35-compat.patch: Fix AttributeError in Python 3.5.
  * New upstream release.
  * d/patches/python35-compat.patch: Fix AttributeError in Python 3.5.
  * No-change rebuild for python3.5 transition
  * Rebuild to drop files installed into /usr/share/pyshared.
  * Rebuild to drop files installed into /usr/share/pyshared.
  * Rebuild to drop files installed into /usr/share/pyshared.
  * Rebuild to drop files installed into /usr/share/pyshared.
  * Fake sync due to mismatching orig tarball (LP: #1252528).

Debian has upgraded package and applied Barry's patch, as well.
