[Bug 1100976] [NEW] raring iso not booting in kvm

EDIT: This started as a question but it was suggested that I turn it
into a bug.

This is my first time trying to run a test.

I installed testdrive and virtualbox. Initially, I could not get
testdrive to launch a vm, but I noticed that it was setup to use kvm by
default so I installed kvm.

I then tried to boot "Ubuntu Desktop (raring-i386)", but the boots hangs
before it can even get to the welcome page. Not sure if this is a bug or
if their is something wrong with my setup. Here is the testdrive log:
