Please specify what Ubuntu release you are using and provide exact steps
to reproduce the problem. Once done, please change the bug status back
to New.

>From your description it sounds likely to me that this bug also affects
Debian and upstream. If this is the case, then a report should be sent
upstream so that it can be fixed there and the wider community can
benefit.
