Please package version 2.3.4 of unixODBC which was released August 2015. It has many fixes since the currently available version 2.3.1, which was released nearly 4 years ago:
- ASCII-UNICODE conversion updates
- mutex deadlock fixes 
- buffer overruns
- addition of ODBC 3.8 features
