[Bug 1429976] [NEW] Unattended install fails with changeprompt

Public bug reported:

Trying to update to today's update-grub-legacy-ec2 causes my unattended
installs to fail.

Running:

14.04 latest AMI: ami-968ad1fe

apt-get -y -q update
apt-get -y -q upgrade

dpkg.log says:

2015-03-09 18:13:32 status half-configured grub-legacy-ec2:all
0.7.5-0ubuntu1.4

ps -ewf shows that an update choice is being thrown:
