Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.

Please attach the error from /var/log/mysql/error.log after the actual
fail-to-start failure. The logs automatically attached don't contain the
failure as they have rotated out since you first had a problem as far as
I can tell.

Once done, please change the bug status back to New.
