Hi,
We installed a new fresh system dilllp1 and this bug is still exist.

root at dilllp1:~# /etc/init.d/smbd status
* smbd is running

root at dilllp1:~# smbclient -L dilllp1
Enter root's password:
protocol negotiation failed: NT_STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT

root at dilllp1:~# smbpasswd -a root
New SMB password:
Retype new SMB password:
Added user root.

root at dilllp1:~# smbclient -L dilllp1
Enter root's password:
protocol negotiation failed: NT_STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT

root at dilllp1:~# uname -a
Linux dilllp1 3.19.0-22-generic #22~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jun 17 10:03:39 UTC 2015 ppc64le ppc64le ppc64le GNU/Linux

root at dilllp1:~# lsb_release -a
