Same here on Lubuntu 14.04 : on a new install chkrootkit reports  Warning: /sbin/init INFECTED but then there's no evidence of this with repeated passes of unhide and rkhunter.
Apparently,also running chkrootkit -x and chkrootkit -x does not report the infection,as far as I can see.
