Public bug reported:
the mailman package removes preconfigured debconf on installation
When installing mailman for the first time the ”config” script (that seems to be called in preconfigure state by debconf) removes the preconfigured debconf.
This behaivor is not wanted and I don’t think that the debconf rules allows it.
** Affects: mailman (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
