[Bug 1253990] [NEW] sessions removed even if max life time isn't reached

Public bug reported:

It seems that the script

/usr/lib/php5/maxlifetime

does not recognize settings that are done in the new conf.d structure.
Just only the original php.ini is read.

In my special case the setting of

session.gc_maxlifetime

is done in as special file conf.d/sessions.ini

which is ignored.
