are you sure it's a duplicate?

I tried lxc.loglevel = 1, and I do get the script output:
      lxc-start 1369324274.003 INFO     lxc_conf - Executing script '/var/lib/lxc/foo/scripts/pre-mount.sh' for container 'foo', config section 'lxc'
      lxc-start 1369324274.268 DEBUG    lxc_conf - script output: The user `ubuntu' is already a member of `video'.

      lxc-start 1369324274.606 DEBUG    lxc_conf - script output:
Generating locales...


But not stderr (the -x is set in the pre-mount script)
