Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.

This sounds very specific and I'm not sure how much progress this bug
will be able to make without a developer with exactly this setup able to
investigate.

It would help if you could provide precise steps to reproduce on a fresh
install (every command typed and file modified) so that a developer can
easily try to reproduce the problem exactly as you have it.

Please also attach a backtrace using the instructions provided at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash

Once done, please change the bug status back to New.

Setting Importance to Medium for now as this bug is so specific that I
don't think it is likely to affect many Ubuntu users. This could change,
of course.
