It's not an error but perfectly intended behaviour.
If the template was to fail, lxc-create would fail and give a clear
error message.
The message you saw comes from the fact that lxc prevents daemon from
starting when preparing the container. This is needed to prevent the
installation of openssh-server in the container from restarting the
host's ssh server. The message is perfectly normal and in no way flagged
as an error.
