** Description changed:

- During iscsi root testing for quantal beta-1 I was unable to use ipxe to
- boot installed iSCSI root images backed by tgt.
+ [Reason]
+ The version of ipxe in quantal is a git snapshot from February 2012; this should really have been updated earlier in cycle. See original bug report for one of the issues encountered due to usage of an older snapshot.
+
+ [Changelog]
+ See attached - its is 380 commits since the current snapshot in Ubuntu.
+
+ [Build Log]
+ See attached
+
+ [Install Log]
+ TODO
+
+ [Testing]
+ I use the iscsi boot option for testing iscsi root installations; using this latest upstream snapshot I was able to complete this testing as iPXE was able to boot from the iscsi devices.

+ [Original Bug Report]
+ During iscsi root testing for quantal beta-1 I was unable to use ipxe to boot installed iSCSI root images backed by tgt.

Switching to the latest upstream snapshot fixed my issue so I think its
worth considering a FFe for ipxe to fix this (and maybe other) issues as
its not been updated since February 2012.
