[Bug 1044837] [NEW] vmbuilder should accept an empty destination directory

Public bug reported:

vmbuilder should accept an empty destination directory without trying to recreate it.
Currently it fails even with overwrite option if the directory is a mountpoint.

vm-builder: 0.12.4+bzr477-0ubuntu3
Description:    Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS
Release:        12.04
