error message is:

KVM Kernel Module Not Loaded!
For Loading KVM Module, Enter in Terminal by User "root": "modprobe kvm-intel". Or if Use AMD Processor: "modprobe kvm-amd".

So I su'd into root, entered 
modprobe kvm-intel

and got error:
FATAL: Error inserting kvm_intel (/lib/modules/2.6.32-43-generic/kernel/arch/x86/kvm/kvm-intel.ko): Operation not supported
