[Bug 1082699] [NEW] cannot copy to samba share

Public bug reported:

I cannot copy files to a samba share on my ubuntu server. This used to
work without problems.

I have read/write permissions and can create new folders or delete files
in the share.

Copying hangs at 0 % and never progresses any further.
