Looking at the attached build log for open-vm-tools I can't see a
failure.  Are you still seeing this issue?

If so please can you provide the full output from:

   sudo apt-get -f install

Marking this bug as 'Incomplete'. Please set back to 'New' once you have
provided the requested information.
