Public bug reported:

I change some properties of my trackpoint (via xinput) upon logging into
unity, but when I lxc-start a container those properties are reset to
their original values:

salgado at delgadito:~$ xinput --list-props pointer:"Lite-On Technology Corp. ThinkPad USB Keyboard with TrackPoint" | grep "Device Accel Velocity Scaling"
Device Accel Velocity Scaling (257):	60.000000
salgado at delgadito:~$ sudo lxc-start -n launchpad -d
salgado at delgadito:~$ xinput --list-props pointer:"Lite-On Technology Corp. ThinkPad USB Keyboard with TrackPoint" | grep "Device Accel Velocity Scaling"
Device Accel Velocity Scaling (257):	10.000000
