Public bug reported:
Description: Ubuntu 11.10
Release: 11.10
Linux release 3.0.0-16-server #29-Ubuntu SMP Tue Feb 14 13:08:12 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
ii autofs5 5.0.6-0ubuntu2 kernel-based automounter for Linux, version 5
ii nis 3.17-32ubuntu1 clients and daemons for the Network Information Service (NIS)
When using autofs with maps stored in NIS you need to restart the autofs
service to get it to work correctly.
The NIS init script is a sysv style one which is started after autofs,
NIS needs to be started first.
** Affects: autofs5 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
