Ubuntu better.

It looks like something has left some lock files in the /etc/ directory
on your install.

Please try removing the following files if present:

   /etc/passwd.lock
   /etc/group.lock
   /etc/shadow.lock

You can they complete the update by running the following command:

  sudo apt-get -f install

I'm going to mark this bug as 'Invalid' but this this does not resolve
your issue please set back to 'New'.
