snmp commands do work with:

mheldebr at server:/$ snmpwalk -v2c -c REDACTED localhost 'NET-SNMP-EXTEND-MIB::nsExtendOutLine."svncommits".1'
NET-SNMP-EXTEND-MIB::nsExtendOutLine."svncommits".1 = STRING: 11486
