This bug was fixed in the package mvel - 2.0.18-1ubuntu1

  * Fix FTBFS with openjdk-7 as default-jdk (LP: #888984):
    - d/maven.properties: specify source encoding.
  * d/libmvel-java.poms: use --java-lib to ensure jar files installed to
    /usr/share/java.

  * Bump Standards-Version to 3.9.0: no changes needed.
