Hi Seetharam, thanks for taking the time to file this bug and help us
make Ubuntu better.
Your hostname is not valid as a mail host name, so postfix is refusing
to start. This is commonly attributed to a poorly configured cable modem
or router which hands out invalid hostnames with underscores in the
names or numbers as the first characters.
You can verify this by looking at /etc/hostname and /etc/mailname, both
files can be edited to be something more correct for postfix. Once it is
appropriate, 'dpkg --configure -a' should finish configuring postfix.
This is not a bug in postfix though, so closing as Invalid.
** Changed in: postfix (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Invalid
