** Description changed:
After installation of cobbler on 12.04 there is a MaaS-specific syslinux
configuration:
$ cat /var/lib/tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default
--------------------
DEFAULT menu
PROMPT 0
MENU TITLE Ubuntu MAAS
TIMEOUT 200
TOTALTIMEOUT 6000
ONTIMEOUT local
LABEL local
- MENU LABEL (local)
- MENU DEFAULT
- LOCALBOOT -1
-
+ MENU LABEL (local)
+ MENU DEFAULT
+ LOCALBOOT -1
MENU end
--------------------
+ This is strange.
- This is strange.
+ [Impact]
+ In precise, the PXE menu shows 'Ubuntu MAAS' as it was used by default by MAAS. Since we no longer use cobbler, this is no longer necessary and we should change the name back to default name.
+
+ [Test Case]
+ 1. Install cobbler
+ 2. Check /var/lib/tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default and verify that MENU TITLE says other than 'Ubuntu MAAS'
+
+ [Regression Potential]
+ None. This only drops a patch that changes a name displayed on the PXE boot menu.
