[Bug 1089583] [NEW] Dovecot gets killed upon starting

Public bug reported:

I have deployed a fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and have installed
the package mail-server^ in order to set up a new mail server. However,
when I do `service dovecot restart` I get the following output:

stop: Unknown instance: 
dovecot start/running, process 16656

I have searched in /var/log/mail.log file and found the following:

I believe this is a bug in some of Dovecot packages. I am using 2.0.19
version of Dovecot from the official Ubuntu repository.
