Hello!
I can confirm that some domains coming from whois.ua are shown
improperly when one's LANG is set to UTF-8.
Unfortunately, the whois protocol is a bit simplistic and does not
support any encoding specification. So one has to guess. It would appear
that the authors of whois have guessed that whois.ua will return koi8-u
encoded text. But the two domains I checked had UTF-8 encoded entries.
It would help if a native speaker would reach out to the administrators
of whois.ua and ask them if they are enforcing any one encoding on their
entries. If that turns out to be utf-8 instead of koi8-u, then we can
just change the entry in 'servers_charset_list'
