[Bug 856092] [NEW] 11.10 beta1 alternate install broken dependency libsasl2-modules xserver-xorg-video-ati

Public bug reported:

The select software section of the installation process failes because
the libsasl2-modules and xserver-xorg-ideo-ati packages are "not
installable" causing libpurple and x-server-xorg-video to not be
installable and subsequently ubuntu-desktop.  The workaround is to boot
the minimal install, configure apt sources and install from the network.
