Mirza, as Costas suggests, the problem here was the config file.

The point about the logging of job output in upstart is well known.
Hopefully in 11.10 we will bring a new Upstart feature in to play that
will log job output automatically.

Closing bug report as Invalid, since there is nothing for developers to
do at this point.
